Lesbian Bishop

Whilst preaching in Greece I was watching World news only to discover that the American Episcopalian Church had consecrated it’s first lesbian Bishop;
The Rev. Mary Glasspool, 56, has become the first openly lesbian bishop consecrated in the Episcopal Church.
The consecration at the Los Angeles diocese angers some within the Anglican Communion who view homosexuality as a sin. The Anglican Communion is an association of churches of which the Episcopalian Church is a part.
The Archbishop of Canterbury spoke in opposition to Glasspool’s consecration, saying it “raises very serious questions not just for the Episcopal Church and its place in the Anglican Communion, but for the Communion as a whole,” CNN reports.
Thank God the Archbishop has spoken clearly of his conviction.
However, Los Angeles bishop Jon Bruno told CNN that Glasspool is “highly qualified and experienced,” noting her 28-year record as an ordained priest, her commitment to her partner of nearly two decades, and Glasspool’s “example of living service and ministry.”
bishop Jon Bruno justifies this act of lunacy based on her experience and example of living! What about asking the real question, does scripture allow for homosexuals for ministry?
Clearly not! All acts of homosexuaility are an offence to God and so they should be to God’s people also. The radical move away from scripture is something to be expected as Jesus told us that in the last days deception would increase within the ‘church’.
